Amerant Bancorp (AMTB) priced an offering of $50M senior notes due 2031, with the notes carrying a 7% annual interest rate.
The unsecured, unsubordinated notes will mature on Sept. 17, 2031, with interest payable semiannually on March 17 and Sept. 17 beginning in March 2027.
The offering is expected to close Sept. 17, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes.
