Lemonade (LMND) announced on Tuesday that its renters insurance is now available in Kentucky, expanding its coverage to more U.S. renters.
Customers can get quotes, buy and manage policies, and file claims through Lemonade’s app, with about 40% of claims handled instantly.
The coverage starts at $5 per month, while the company says its renters' insurance rates are about 30% below the national average.
Moreover, customers can also save through policy bundling, qualifying home safety devices, and annual billing.
The expansion adds to the company's customer base of more than 3M active customers across its insurance business.
On the market side, the stock traded ~1.21% lower at ~$52.69.
