Lexaria Bioscience (LEXX) said on Tuesday it agreed to the immediate exercise of warrants for 453,969 shares at $12.92/share, generating approximately $5.9M in gross proceeds.
In connection with the exercise, the company will issue Series A and Series B warrants, each covering up to 453,969 shares with a $12.67 exercise price.
The Series A warrants expire five years after the resale registration statement becomes effective, while the Series B warrants expire after 18 months.
The company expects to use the net proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes.
The funds, together with a recently received $2.6M Australian tax rebate, may support operations and R&D programs in 2027.
H.C. Wainwright & Co. is acting as the exclusive placement agent for the offering.
