• Zefiro Methane (ZEFIF) has been awarded an $11.5M well-plugging services contract by an environmental protection department for a state in the Great Lakes region with work scheduled from November 2026 through June 2029.
• Under the grant funding, about $3M of the contract must be spent between November 2026 and June 30, 2027, while the remaining $8.5M is expected to be spent between July 2027 and June 2029.
• Zefiro said the award adds to its growing portfolio of environmental remediation projects across the U.S.
• The contract follows a $19.6M, three-year Ohio well-remediation contract awarded in June 2025 to address about 200 high-priority marginal wells.
