Planet Labs PBC (PL) announced on Thursday that it signed a 7-figure, 1-year contract with a European defense and intelligence customer.
The contract covers Planet Mosaics and professional services to provide satellite-based intelligence for operational planning.
The deal adds to the company's growing defense business, following recent contracts and extensions with U.S. and European defense organizations.
Planet Labs PBC said the deal reflects continued demand for its satellite data and support services from defense and intelligence customers.
On the market side, the stock traded ~2.65% lower at ~$19.46 in the premarket session.
