瑞安航空因燃油成本飙升而缩减冬季运力,乘客减少200万人

2026-09-03 13:23

  • Ryanair (RYAAY) will slash winter flights in an aggressive bid to limit losses driven by months of elevated fuel costs tied to the Middle East conflict.
  • The discount airline said it expects to carry two million fewer passengers this financial year as a result of the cuts, which will reduce its fuel bill by as much as €100M.
  • Ryanair warned that even with the savings, its earnings were set to fall below last year's record level – though it said it was too early to provide any more detail.
  • The company said, "In light of high oil prices, it is sensible to strategically reduce the group's exposure to unhedged jet fuel during the unprofitable winter schedule."
  • It said passenger numbers from November to March will be "broadly flat year-on-year" as a result of the timetable reductions, while describing the measures as a "one-off".
  • "If high oil prices continue through to S.27, Ryanair believes short-haul airfares in Europe will increase materially to reflect higher oil prices, as some less well-hedged competitors will struggle to maintain capacity or even survive this coming winter season," Ryanair said.
