Bausch + Lomb将双效干眼滴眼液推进至第3阶段

- Bausch + Lomb (BLCO) said it will advance a dry eye drop into phase 3 development that is a combination of Xiidra (lifitegrast) and Miebo (perfluorohexyloctane).
- The study will test the combination drop versus Xiidra alone in reducing total corneal fluorescein staining (tCFS) from baseline to day 15.
- The new drop is intended to treat ocular surface inflammation and tear evaporation.
- Bausch + Lomb is also continuing development of BL1332, currently in phase 2, for ocular surface pain. The first-in-class topical TRPV1 antagonist targets a key receptor involved in ocular pain signaling.
