The Descartes Systems Group (DSGX) acquired Tai Software for ~$100M in cash, expanding its transportation management and logistics network with an AI-powered freight brokerage platform.
California-based Tai provides transportation management software that helps freight brokers manage the full shipment lifecycle across truckload, less-than-truckload, drayage, and cross-border operations.
The acquisition was funded entirely with cash on hand.
