Lyntris (LYNX) and some of its backers raised $297.5M in a downsized initial public offering that priced below its marketed range.
The sensor technology company and shareholders, including private equity firm Trive Capital sold 17 million shares for $17.50 each, according to a statement on Tuesday.
The company had offered 4.9M shares, and the shareholders intended to offload 19.1M shares, with the stock marketed for $19 to $22 each, its filings showed.
The shares of Lyntris's (LYNX) common stock are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “LYNX” on August 19, and the offering is expected to close on August 20.
