- Rocket Lab (RKLB) secured a $397M contract from the U.S. Space Force to develop, launch and operate multiple Flatellites for the Space-Based Airborne Moving Target Indicator (SB-AMTI) program.
- Under the contract, Rocket Lab will build, launch and operate multiple Flatellites on its upcoming Neutron rocket, providing tracking data to the Space Force from secure mission operations facilities.
- The award also includes an option for additional Flatellites within the total contract value.
- The award builds on Rocket Lab's (RKLB) portfolio of U.S. government and defense programs, including missions for the Space Force, the National Reconnaissance Office, DARPA and NASA.
- The stock price traded about 2.3% higher on Tuesday after market hours.
