AXT同意Lumentum交易

AXT (AXTI) shares rose more than 10% in premarket trading on Thursday after it announced an agreement with Lumentum Operations, LLC to supply indium phosphide wafer substrates.
Under terms of the deal, AXT has agreed to reserve a minimum annual amount of indium phosphide for Lumentum, with the deal running through Dec. 31, 2031, the company said in a statement. Lumentum will provide AXT with an initial deposit of $43.5M within 30 days after the agreement and a second tranche of $43.5M to be determined during the 2028 calendar year.
AXT is scheduled to announce second-quarter results after the close of trading on Thursday.
