通用动力公司、亨廷顿英戈尔斯赢得美国海军潜艇合同修改

- General Dynamics (GD) announced on Wednesday that its Electric Boat unit and Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) were awarded contract modifications for major U.S. Navy submarine construction programs and shipbuilder productivity efforts.
- The awards cover five Columbia-class ballistic missile submarines, nine Virginia-class attack submarines, and a 10th shipset of material.
- The work is expected to be completed by July 2038.
- The contracts also include investments aimed at improving shipbuilder productivity.
- About $11.88B will be obligated at award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
- Naval Sea Systems Command is serving as the contracting activity.
