- Karman Holdings (KRMN) is set to join the S&P SmallCap 600 (SP600) before the opening bell on July 17, replacing BrightSpring Health Services (BTSG).
- The index change follows BrightSpring's promotion to the S&P MidCap 400 (SP400), filling the vacancy created by Chart Industries (GTLS) planned acquisition by Baker Hughes Co. (BKR), which is expected to close on July 16, subject to final closing conditions.
- KRMN shares rose nearly +8% premarket. Separately, Karman announced the expansion of its Horsham, Pennsylvania facility through a $2.7M investment.
- The investment will expand Karman's capacity to rapidly develop and produce advanced technologies that support the operational readiness of U.S. Navy and allied defense forces.
