Euroseas (ESEA) announced on Monday that it has ordered 2 new 1,800 TEU container vessels to be constructed in China, at ~$32.26M each.
The delivery of these vessels is scheduled for Dec. 2028 and Mar. 2029, funded through debt and equity.
The company continues its fleet expansion, with 21 vessels operating (~61K TEU) and 12 more under construction (~36K TEU) scheduled through 2027–2029.
The current fleet is largely under time charter contracts, generating roughly $19K to $38K per day, providing stable revenue visibility.
Overall, the order reinforces a long-term fleet renewal strategy focused on modern capacity and a structurally tight shipping market.
