Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. reported May 2026 passenger traffic of 5.6M, down 1.6% year-over-year.
Passenger traffic increased 6.6% in Colombia, while declining 4.2% in Mexico and 3.7% in Puerto Rico.
Colombia's growth was driven by a 7.0% increase in domestic traffic and a 5.4% rise in international traffic.
In Mexico, domestic passenger traffic grew 1.3%, but international traffic fell 10.0%, weighing on overall results.
Puerto Rico saw a 4.4% decline in domestic traffic, partially offset by a 2.0% increase in international traffic.
The overall traffic decline was primarily caused by weaker passenger volumes in Mexico, ASUR's largest market.
Colombia remained the strongest-performing region in ASUR's portfolio during the month, continuing to deliver solid passenger growth.
