Perma-Fix Environmental Services (PESI) said on Friday it priced an underwritten public offering of about 2.29M common shares at $8.75 apiece, raising gross proceeds of roughly $20M.
The company also granted underwriter Craig-Hallum a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 342,857 shares at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts.
Perma-Fix said it plans to use the proceeds for capacity upgrades at its Richland facility in Washington state, continued development of its PFAS destruction technology, and for general corporate purposes.
The offering is expected to close on May 18, subject to customary conditions.
Stock down 1.11% in premarket trading.
