Shares of Cerence (CRNC) fell 8% on Friday after the company reported second-quarter results.
Cerence posted a Q2 GAAP EPS of $0.04.
Revenue declined 17.7% year over year to $64.2M, though it beat analyst estimates by $3.33M.
The company said adjusted EBITDA reached $7.2M, while free cash flow totaled $13.6M.
"We believe we have a durable growth profile over time, supported by disciplined execution, strong cash generation, and a continued focus on profitable growth. Based on our strong performance and improved visibility, we are raising the midpoints of our full-year revenue, adjusted EBITDA, and free cash flow guidance,” CEO Brian Krzanich
Cerence bumped the lower end of its guidance to $305M from the previous target of $300M, which it says puts the midpoint of its full-year revenue guidance at $312.5M.
