National Healthcare Properties (NHPAP) on Tuesday said it has priced a public offering of 38.5 million Class A common shares at $12 each.
The offering is expected to raise about $462 million in gross proceeds, with shares set to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on April 22 under the symbol “NHP.”
Closing is expected on April 23, subject to customary conditions.
The company has granted underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 5.78 million shares to cover overallotments.
National Healthcare Properties said it plans to use proceeds to repay about $186 million of debt under its revolving credit facility, fund potential acquisitions and for general corporate purposes.
NHPAP -0.04% after hours to $21.22.
