Redwire (RDW) secured a contract to develop Belgium's inaugural national security satellite, partnering closely with Aerospacelab.
The agreement positions Redwire (RDW) as the lead integrator for the satellite, focusing on critical avionics, payload integration, and mission systems tailored for national security applications.
The mission—known as MATTEO—is commissioned by the Belgian Federal Government and is fully funded by Belgian Defence. Redwire (RDW) and Aerospacelab will jointly develop MATTEO.
The stock price climbed about 4% to $9.92 on Monday during pre-market hours of trading.
