OCI Global Monday said that its wholly owned subsidiary OCI Chemicals B.V. has sold 3,331,346 common shares of Methanex (MEOH), representing about 4.3% of the issued and outstanding shares.
The sale price was $51.80 per share, resulting in net proceeds of approximately $172.6 million, after customary fees and expenses. The disposition was made on 13 March 2026 as a block trade.
As a result of the disposition, OCI now owns or exercises control or direction over an aggregate of 6,612,962 shares, representing approximately 8.6% of the issued and outstanding shares.
