C3将购买两艘MR产品油轮

C3is (CISS) on Thursday said it has agreed to acquire two medium range product tankers for a total of $39.8 million, expanding its fleet by 50%.
The company said it signed memoranda of agreement to buy a 2008-built tanker for $16.88 million and a 2011-built tanker for $22.90 million.
The vessels, each with about 50,000 deadweight tons capacity, are expected to be delivered between the first and third quarters of 2026.
Following the acquisitions, C3is’ fleet will increase to six vessels, comprising three Handysize dry bulk carriers and three tankers, including an Aframax oil tanker and the two MR product tankers.
The vessels will be acquired from an entity affiliated with Brave Maritime Corp C3is said the deals were approved by its independent directors and will be funded with a one-year interest-free loan.
CISS closed -34.23% at $0.0928.
