- Mosaic (MOS) has extended the curtailment of single superphosphate production at its Fospar and Araxá facilities in Brazil by an additional 30 days, citing continued pressure from elevated sulfur prices.
- Mosaic (MOS) will continue to assess market conditions in the coming weeks and will evaluate its production plans at that time, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
- Due to the extended curtailment, Mosaic does not intend to purchase sulfur in Brazil in the near term.
