Oramed Pharmaceuticals (ORMP) on Wednesday said that it has received an $18 million payment from Scilex Holdings, completing Scilex’s obligations under an option agreement.
The company said the payment brings its total returns from the Scilex investment to $118 million, compared with an original investment of $99.5 million.
Oramed said it retains a $27 million note and a $12 million convertible note from Scilex, as well as warrants and a nine-year royalty interest in Scilex products.
Separately, Oramed’s board approved a cash dividend of $0.25 per share.
The dividend will be paid on January 26, 2026, to shareholders on record as of January 16, 2026, and is expected to total about $10.5 million.
ORMP +3.90% premarket to $3.19.
