Uber寻求收购停车应用SpotHero -- The Info

- Uber Technologies (UBER) is reportedly in talks to acquire parking app SpotHero, according to The Information.
- Founded in 2011, SpotHero has raised more than $110M from investors, putting its most recent valuation at ~$290M.
- SpotHero operates in over 400 cities in the U.S. and Canada with more than 11,000 locations. The app is currently integrated with Google Maps (GOOG) and Apple Maps (AAPL).
- By partnering with a parking app, Uber (UBER) can potentially offer drivers reserved parking, while also expanding the company’s revenue stream beyond ride-hailing.
- A purchase price has not been disclosed, and talks are ongoing.
