众议院两党延长ACA补贴的修正案遭遇障碍
2025-12-16 07:23
- A amendment with bipartisan support in the House that would extend enhanced ACA subsidies for another two years doesn't have support of Republican leadership.
- The amendment, which would include changes to subsidy eligibility, faced criticism from elite GOP House members who want spending cuts to offset the cost of the extension, The Hill reported.
- The measure is expected to be introduced in the House Rules Committee on Tuesday led by Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) and other moderate Republicans.
- If the amendment does pass out of committee, it would be added to a health care bill introduced by Republicans on Dec. 12.
- The Hill separately reported that Democrats are awaiting permission from their leadership before supporting bipartisan measures to extend enhanced subsidies.
