Sun Life宣布通过Fraser Papers养老金计划购买1.14亿美元的年金

- Sun Life Financial (SLF) has struck two annuity buy-in deals worth $114 million with the trustees of two New Brunswick shared risk plans, securing pension benefits for over 700 former Fraser Papers employees.
- The agreement, advised by Paul Chang Consulting, resolves long-standing uncertainty for former Fraser Papers employees, whose pensions were impacted when the company filed for creditor protection under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) in 2009.
- The new agreement enables the termination of the shared risk plans and brings the CCAA process to an end for these plan members.
