WeRide获准在阿联酋运营无人驾驶机器人出租车

- WeRide (WRD) has been granted a federal level license by the United Arab Emirates' Regulations Lab to operate fully driverless robotaxis.
- The UAE’s Regulations Lab is a government initiative that develops and tests emerging and technologies to be deployed across the Emirates.
- The federal level license allows WeRide’s (WRD) robotaxis to operate in the UAE commercially without an onboard safety driver.
- China’s WeRide (WRD) had already been operating robotaxis in the Abu Dhabi since December 2024, including the May launch of driverless vehicles through a partnership with Uber (UBER).
- There are currently more than 100 WeRide (WRD) robotaxis in the Middle East.
- Shares opened more than 3% lower, reversing a premarket gain of 4%.
