Chewy收购马健康提供商SmartPak，重申第三季度指导

Chewy (CHWY) has agreed to acquire equine health products provider, SmartPak Equine from Covectrus for an undisclosed amount.
The all-cash deal is expected to be financed through Chewy’s (CHWY) existing balance sheet.
With the addition of SmartPak Equine – which provides subscription-based supplements, nutrition plans, therapeutic products, as well as tack and gear for horses – Chewy (CHWY) expands into higher-margin health and wellness verticals, as well as to an underserved segment.
The company also reaffirmed its third quarter guidance for a profit between $0.28 and $0.33 per share on $3.07B to $3.1B in sales, both of which exceed the consensus estimates of $0.31 per share and $3.05B, respectively.
Shares are up 1.5% on Thursday, ending a four-day losing streak.
