POET Technologies (NASDAQ:POET) announced on Wednesday that it has received a production order valued at over $5M for a shipment of optical engines.
The production order of leading-edge 800G optical engines provides further evidence of the commercial viability and scalability of its technology designed to power AI connectivity.
The market for optical transceivers for scale-out and scale-up networks used in AI clusters is expected to double in size from $5B in 2024 to $10B in 2026.
