- Porsche’s (OTCPK:POAHY) executive committee has authorized the chairman of its supervisory board to enter talks with CEO Dr. Oliver Blume over a potential early, mutually agreed termination of his role on the executive board, the German sports car maker said.
- Dr. Michael Leiters, former CEO of McLaren Automotive Limited, "is available as a potential successor" as chairman of the executive board. Leiters formerly worked at Porsche for 13 years, as well as at Italy's Ferrari.
- Negotiations with Dr. Leiters will be initiated. Dr. Blume would continue to serve as the chairman of the executive board of Volkswagen AG (OTCPK:VWAGY), the company said.
- The announcement follows Porsche’s (OTCPK:DRPRY) decision to slow its EV transition and delay the rollout of its all-electric SUV reverberated through its parent company, leading Volkswagen (OTCPK:VWAGY) (OTCPK:VWAPY) to lower its profit outlook for 2025.
- Porsche AG (OTCPK:DRPRY) lowered its automotive EBITDA margin to 10.5% to 12.5% in September from an earlier forecast of 14.5% to 16.5%.
