Butterfly Network (NYSE:BFLY) has named John Doherty as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective December 8, 2025.
Doherty brings over 25 years of financial leadership experience, having previously served as CFO at Kaltura, Magic Leap, and InterXion.
He also held senior roles at Verizon Communications, where he led more than $100 billion in strategic transactions.
Doherty’s appointment follows the departure of Megan Carlson, who will return to her role as Chief Accounting Officer.
Butterfly is focused on transforming medical imaging through its handheld ultrasound technology.
