- This decision comes in response to a significant increase in cannabis imports following the legalization of recreational use last year.
- The proposed changes to the law will mandate that patients must meet with a doctor in person to obtain a cannabis prescription.
- Additionally, the delivery of cannabis through mail orders will be prohibited. Instead, the drug will only be available at physical pharmacies, ensuring that users receive proper guidance and counseling, the report said.
