亚马逊设备和服务副总裁Rob Williams辞职
2025-10-04 00:47
- Amazon’s vice president of device software and services, Rob Williams, has resigned from his position in the company, and will exit Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) entirely at the end of the year, according to a memo viewed by Reuters.
- Williams is also a member of a group of internal advisors to CEO Andy Jassy known as the S-team, an “elite” team of 29 senior members of management.
- Williams’ departure comes just days after his department was part of a services and devices presentation on Tuesday in New York. The company introduced a new lineup of Echo, Fire TV, Ring, Kindle, and Blink devices including Echo speakers with smart displays, 4K Ring doorbell devices, and a Kindle Scribe writing tablet with color.
- Tapas Roy, formally the VP overseeing Fire TV product and engineering, has been named as Williams’ replacement, reporting directly to Panos Panay, senior VP of devices and services.
