Reddit股价在开盘前大幅下跌

- Reddit shares (NYSE:RDDT) are deep in the red in premarket action, sliding down as much as 12% before the bell on Wednesday.
- RDDT stock has gained over 40% so far this year, outperforming the benchmark S&P index, which rose nearly 14% during the same period.
- Media chatter that ChatGPT owner OpenAI (MSFT) is looking to reduce Reddit citations in its answers could possibly be among the reasons for the stock's downward trajectory.
- The stock's decline also comes after Elon Musk shared on his social media platform X that his AI company xAI is working on creating a platform that will compete against the likes of Wikipedia, which could even possibly rival Reddit.
- Over 1.44M RDDT shares have changed hands by 9:05 am ET, below the three-month average trading volume of 6.67M. Short interest on the stock is 14.60%.
