Premier (NASDAQ:PINC) announced on Tuesday that the company and California-based infusion pharmacy operator Premier Infusion and Healthcare Services have reached a five-year group purchasing agreement worth more than $50M annually.
As part of the deal, Charlotte, North Carolina-based Premier (NASDAQ:PINC) will provide group purchasing and supply chain management services to Premier Infusion and Healthcare Services, expanding its operations into the ambulatory infusion clinic market.
The contract is expected to account for more than $50M in annual contract spending in Premier’s (NASDAQ:PINC) continuum of care GPO purchasing volume.
“Equally important, this new group purchasing agreement speaks to the competitive strength and continued growth of Premier’s continuum of care purchasing and support services business,” said the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, Andy Brailo.
