Dentsply Sirona (NASDAQ:XRAY) has announced its decision to keep the Wellspect Healthcare division, which focuses on continence care.

After exploring various strategic options, including the possibility of selling the business, the company concluded that maintaining Wellspect as part of its operations would provide greater value to its shareholders.

"The recent investments we’ve made in Wellspect are generating results, and we believe that the business will continue to play an important role in our strategy to deliver durable, profitable growth across the entire Dentsply Sirona portfolio,"  said Dan Scavilla, Chief Executive Officer of Dentsply Sirona.
