- vTv Therapeutics (NASDAQ:VTVT) has entered into an $80M private placement in public equity financing.
- The financing includes participation from existing investors Samsara BioCapital and the T1D Fund, as well as new investors Trails Edge Capital Partners and Invus.
- The offering includes 682,018 shares and 4.56M pre-funded warrants, each with accompanying warrants to purchase 5.24M shares.
- Shares and units are priced at $15.265 (common stock unit) and $15.255 (pre-funded warrant unit); accompanying warrants have an exercise price of $22.71.
- Proceeds will support development of cadisegliatin, a potential first-in-class oral adjunctive therapy for type 1 diabetes.
- Closing is expected on or around September 3, 2025.
- VTVT shares up 13.9% premarket on Tuesday.
