美国司法部对联合健康的调查比之前报道的范围更广
2025-08-27 04:49
- An ongoing investigation into UnitedHealth Group by the Department of Justice that was thought to be isolated to its Medicare business practices is now understood to also involve how the health insurer reimburses doctors as well as its pharmacy benefit manager OptumRx.
- The DoJ hasn't accused the company or any of its employees of wrongdoing, and the probe doesn't mean any charges will be filed, Bloomberg, which broke the story, noted.
- The DoJ's interest in UnitedHealth was first disclosed in May when The Wall Street Journal reported that the department was looking into potential Medicare fraud.
- In late July, UnitedHealth said it was complying with DoJ requests for information.
- UnitedHealth shares have taken a beating in 2025 and are down ~40% year to date. The highest closing price for shares this year was $585.05 on April 16. On Tuesday, shares closed at $300.43.
