Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, an RTX (NYSE:RTX) business has been awarded a $115.08 million contract modification to procure long-lead-time materials for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program.
This funding will support the future production of F135 propulsion systems for the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, and Navy, as well as for F-35 Cooperative Program Partners and Foreign Military Sales customers.
The work will be performed in East Hartford, Connecticut, with an estimated completion date of February 2028.
The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
