Excelerate Energy (NYSE:EE) +15.1% post-market Tuesday after raising guidance for full-year adjusted EBITDA to reflect the acquisition of New Fortress Energy's business in Jamaica, which it said is meeting or exceeding its targets for reliability and operational performance.
Excelerate (NYSE:EE) said it closed its acquisition of the integrated LNG and power platform in Jamaica in May, and following the closing, it now forecast FY 2025 adjusted EBITDA of $420M-$440M.
After removing certain seller-specific cost allocations, the company said pro forma adjusted EBITDA for both the March 2025 quarter and the full year ended 2024 are now aligned with management expectations.
"Our recent acquisition in Jamaica marks a significant milestone in Excelerate's strategic vision to become a provider of critical last-mile energy infrastructure," Excelerate (EE) President and CEO Steven Kobos said.
