- Hong Kong’s privacy watchdog has launched an investigation into a data breach affecting about 419,000 Louis Vuitton (OTCPK:LVMUY) (OTCPK:LVMHF) customers as the luxury fashion house faces a series of cyberattacks across key global markets in recent months.
- In a statement issued Monday, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data told Bloomberg that the leaked information includes customers’ names, passport numbers, dates of birth, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, shopping history, and product preferences.
- A spokesperson for Louis Vuitton (OTCPK:LVMUY) (OTCPK:LVMHF) in Hong Kong clarified that no payment data was compromised in the breach, the report said.
