NioCorp Developments (NASDAQ:NB) shares plunged over 17% premarket on Thursday after the company proposed an equity offering in the U.S.
The sale consists of common shares (or pre-funded warrants in lieu thereof). The company plans to use the net proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes, including to advance its efforts to launch construction of the Elk Creek Project and move it to commercial operation.
