The Nasdaq Composite (COMP:IND) soared to a new all-time trading high on Friday, as a wave of buying interest propelled the tech-heavy index past its previous peak. The index climbed to 20,311.51, surpassing its earlier record of 20,204.58 set back on December 14.

The milestone reflects renewed investor optimism, with the Nasdaq Composite now up 4.1% year-to-date in 2025.

The Nasdaq Composite comes attached with over 3,000 constituents and the more condensed Nasdaq-100 (NDX) also tagged record highs.
