Quantum Corporation (NASDAQ:QMCO) appointed Hugues Meyrath as chief executive officer, effective June 2, 2025.
Meyrath, a storage industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, succeeds Jamie Lerner, CEO since July 2018.
Donald J. Jaworski, current lead independent director, has been named chairman of the board.
Quantum has raised ~$60M through a standby equity purchase agreement to support capital restructuring.
The company is actively working with lenders to restructure remaining debt to support long-term growth.
QMCO shares rise 3% premarket on Tuesday.
