• TransCode Therapeutics (NASDAQ:RNAZ) has approved a 1-for-28 reverse stock split.
• The reverse stock split is intended to increase the per-share trading price of RNAZ's common stock to enable RNAZ to satisfy the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on Nasdaq.
• The reverse split will reduce the number of shares of common stock outstanding from 23.34M shares to ~833,620 shares.
• Proportional adjustments also will be made to the exercise prices of TransCode's outstanding stock options and warrants, and to the number of shares issued and issuable under TransCode's stock incentive plans.
• RNAZ shares fall 15.8% post-market on Friday.
