近日，在新华社品牌工作办公室、新华网、新华社海南分社主办的2024企业家博鳌论坛上，联合能源集团凭借其在ESG方面的卓越实践和显著成效，荣获“2024企业卓越实践案例”，成为企业ESG创新典范之一。

At the 2024 Entrepreneurs Bo’ao Forum co-hosted recently by the Brand Work Office of Xinhua News Agency, Xinhua News, and the Hainan Branch of Xinhua News Agency, United Energy Group was awarded the "2024 Outstanding Enterprise Practice Case" for its remarkable practices and outstanding achievements in the ESG field, thus emerging as one of the innovative models in enterprise ESG.

In response to the global challenge of climate change, UEG has actively embraced green and low-carbon development as one of its core corporate strategies. The group has not only established strict environmental management policies but also implemented a series of measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency.

继2017年投运巴基斯坦吉姆普尔99MW风电项目、2021年投运伊拉克2.5MW光伏项目后，2024年联合能源完成保加利亚Poly-Sime 250MW光伏项目签约及交割，同时成功收购罗马尼亚Oltenita光伏项目。此外，集团正在积极推进氢能及海水综合利用领域的项目拓展，为新能源业务的可持续发展创造更多可能性。

Following the commissioning of the 99MW wind power project in Jhimpir, Pakistan in 2017 and the 2.5MW photovoltaic project in Iraq in 2021, UEG signed the contract and completed the transaction of the 250MW photovoltaic project in Poly-Sime, Bulgaria, in 2024 and simultaneously successfully acquired the Oltenita photovoltaic project in Romania. In addition, the group is actively promoting expansion projects in the fields of hydrogen energy and comprehensive utilization of seawater, creating more possibilities for the sustainable development of the renewable energy business.

UEG actively collaborates with local communities of its’ assets countries to promote their development. Through corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, the group provides communities with support in sanitation systems, education, and infrastructure, and prioritizes hiring local contractors to create job opportunities.

联合能源在巴基斯坦，投资建造学校、医疗中心和反渗透设备，为当地居民提供清洁饮用水；在伊拉克，通过社会福利活动，改善当地居民的生活条件，赢得了广泛赞誉；在埃及，建立社区培训学习中心，赋能女性就业成长。

In Pakistan, the group invested in building schools, medical centers, and reverse osmosis equipment to provide clean drinking water for local residents; in Iraq, through social welfare activities, it improved the living conditions of local residents, earning widespread acclaim; in Egypt, it established community training and learning centers to empower women's employment and growth.
