• Varex Imaging (NASDAQ:VREX) is selling $125M of its 7.875% senior secured notes due October 15, 2027 in a private offering.
• The notes will be issued as “Additional Notes” and will constitute a further issuance of the company’s 7.875% senior secured notes due 2027, which were initially issued in an aggregate principal amount of $300M on Sep. 30, 2020, of which $243M aggregate principal amount is outstanding.
• Varex intends to use the net proceeds from the sale to fund the partial repayment of its outstanding convertible notes due June 2025, on their maturity date or to repurchase part of the convertible notes prior to their maturity date.
