Billionaire investor Seth Klarman's Baupost Group cut its stake in Warner Bros. Discovery (NASDAQ:WBD), exited its position in Tower Semiconductor (NASDAQ:TSEM) and snapped up some shares in SoundHound AI (NASDAQ:SOUN) in Q1 2024, among other changes.

Baupost disclosed the information in its latest 13F filing for the three months ended March 31, 2024, published on Tuesday.

The fund slashed its Warner Bros. (WBD) holding to 3.71M series A shares in Q1 from 25.24M in Q4 2023. The entertainment company last week reported a quarterly top and bottom line miss, driven by revenue declines in its studios and networks segments.

Other stake reductions include a 30.4% cut in infrastructure and engineering firm Jacobs Solutions (J) to 506.8K shares, a 19% decrease in building materials and products maker CRH (CRH) to 30.6M shares, and a 12.3% trim in financial services provider Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) to 5.58M shares.

Baupost disposed off its entire Tower Semiconductor (TSEM) stake of 2.71M shares. Other holdings dumped by the fund include biotech Finch Therapeutics (FNCH), emissions reduction firm Garrett Motion (GTX) and broadcaster Gray Television (GTN).

Baupost picked up 1.13M class A shares in SoundHound (SOUN), a voice artificial intelligence solutions provider.

The fund also raised its stake in nutrition supplements marketer Herbalife (HLF) by 33.6% to 2.24M shares.

Seth Klarman's Baupost Group manages nearly $30B across a wide range of asset classes, making it one of the largest hedge funds in the U.S. According to Forbes, Klarman's real time net worth is $1.3B.
