• Ocugen (NASDAQ:OCGN) shares climbed around 7% premarket after the biotechnology firm filed a prospectus related to a securities offering.
• Under this shelf registration process, the company may offer and sell shares of its common stock and preferred stock, various series of debt securities and/or warrants to purchase any of such securities, either individually or in combination with other securities, in one or more offerings for an aggregate offering amount of up to $175M.
• Net proceeds from the sale will be used for general corporate purposes, the company said in the filing.
