- The FSB said the plot reflected the proximity between Apple and the National Security Agency, responsible for U.S. cryptographic and communications intelligence and security.
- The Russian agency alleged Apple of providing American intelligence agencies with a wide range of opportunities to monitor any persons of interest to the White House and their partners in anti-Russian activities and citizens.
- Previously Apple drew regulatory attention for its vulnerability to NSO Group spyware.
- Price Action: AAPL shares traded higher by 0.23% at $177.66 in the premarket on the last check Thursday.
